TGF Edit: Backpacks

Not an accessories trend i expected to like - it brings back memories of school, lugging books around but these days backpacks are not only practical but this time round they also become stylish (less Dora the explorer, more street style fashionista). I wont be embracing as my everyday bag however it is a great bag for days when i need to be hands free, perfect for a shopping trip. One thing i really like about the new generation backpacks is the versatility - not only can they be carried as a traditional backpack or casually slung on one shoulder but most have a large top handle allowing for it to be carried on the crook of your arm like a handbag. Available everywhere in so many different shapes, sizes and colours but looks best in leather/leather look fabrics (gives it a grown up edge) - here are a round up of some of my favourites from both the highstreet and designer brands.

Whilst researching this post i looked at so many different styles and ended up being really inspired so bought myself one...

I went for one from my go to store ASOS - Zip front square backpack £32. A classic, simple shape and in a light grey colour, perfect for the summer. A great size too, perfect for all my everyday essentials whilst i am sightseeing in Paris, wandering around Edinburgh or watching football at Wembly.
