Launched in 2012 as a space for the everyday girl who loves fashion, The Glitter Fashionista is a place for inspiration. If you love fashion you'll feel right at home here - with everything from my top picks and ideas on where to buy, to offering advice if you need help with my "How to Wear" series. Although predominately a destination for fashion & style, i recently became a mum, so there is now an element of motherhood adventures plus some baby fashion. I also love to write about beauty, home decor and general life, so you will find an element of this sprinkled in too.

So...my name is Alison - i am a British blogger & first time mum to baby Mark, based in the midlands, living with my hubby James and our beautiful tortoiseshell kitty Willow. I have a serious coffee addiction, along with a very sweet tooth. love pink peonies, a good striped tee and have an obsession with everything Parisian.
I started this blog, when i was working for an outdoor retailer, as a buying assistant on technical rucksacks (not so glamorous), because i wanted a place to document my style, share what inspires me and as an outlet for my love of all things fashion. The Glitter Fashionista has become a space to come and escape, indulging in designer handbags and beautiful shoes - my happy place i guess you would call it. A big part of this blog for me is the interaction with my readers, i love to hear from fellow minded lovers of fashion and welcome all comments, feedback and post ideas.
