After six month of trying out lots of skincare products, i have finally found my night-time skincare routine and i wanted to share it with you. A fairly tight set of products but it works for me - i have combination skin and have struggled with spots in the past, so i like to keep it simple and use products that aren't too harsh.
So first up i will take off the bulk of my makeup using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and Garnier eye makeup remover on cotton wool pads. Then onto wet skin i will work in Soap & glory's facial wash with my Primark pink cleansing pad and then wash off using a clean muslin cloth. Twice a month i will swap out the Soap & Glory cleanser for a vitamin C microdermabrasion scrub from the Body Shop for a deep cleanse. Finally just before bed i will add a few drops of the L'Oreal extraordinary facial Oil to my face and let that sink in fully before finishing up with the a Nivea night moisturiser.

I also like to throw in a face mask once week (or whenever my skin looks like it needs a treat). I usually use Superdrug Cucumber Peel Off mask but i have recently been enjoying the latest beauty trend - sheet masks and find they are a great alternative. I was actually kindly sent a Timeless Truth Charcoal Detox Brightening Mask to try and was really impressed. Part of the fusion range, i opted for the charcoal detox brightening mask (which brightens, smoothes and hydrates the skin) as this best suited my skin type. It felt cooling on the skin, actually stayed on my face unlike most other sheet masks i have tried and left my skin soft, tingly (in a good way) and super moisturised. Well worth a look if your looking to try a sheet mask out - check out the whole range at ttmasks.co.uk where you will find a mask for all skin types and although a little more expensive than those you can find in Boots or Superdrug they are worth it.
