My February

My February

"For some people, Fashion week lasts all year."

My Feb 1

Fashion week is my favourite part of February (not so bothered about Valentines day), so much glamour and i am in street style heaven. | The new addition to the Hill & Friends collection - the Happy Zippy bag, supple structured leather and some quirky details such as the brands wink lock. Available now to pre-order in this to die for oxblood colour and three others - super fast fashion. | My highlights from the quirky AW16 Anya Hindmarch show - rainbows, Pac-man and fried eggs. | An interesting show from Mulberry this year, read my highlights (and lowlights) here. | Love a good fashion quote to start the week - and in honour of fashion week it had to be from Coco Chanel. |  My favourite accessories designer from LFW - highlights of a much darker collection from the bubblegum princess of shoes Sophia Webster. | Spotted this amazing coat on the blog of MIC Rosie Fortiscue, gorgeous colours however a tad too pricey for me and actually not faux fur so a no go but a beautiful piece. | Upping their fashion game M&S join the bandwagon, embracing the quirky trend and offering up cute cartoon inspired bags - a shopper and clutch. | Embracing the dark winter florals, love the drama and the opposite to the super girly prints I normally go for.

My Feb 2

New dressing table decoration, pastel flowers in a glass jar from Next. | The countdown is on to my best friends hen party. | My new phone / laptop wallpaper, something motivational. | My nod to Valentines day, not something hubby & i bother with. Too hyped up and expensive and don't feel i need only one day to say how much i love him. | Mondays are not my favourite day...but with a smile and lots of coffee I somehow survive. | Bathroom envy, how beautiful is this room and although lots of pink it is still really subtle. Need to investigate where I can find these amazing tiles. For more inspiration, check out my home board on Pinterest. | Pastel doughnuts made me happy one Friday afternoon. | Another new season launches and with that comes many new beautiful pieces. This pair of pastel Bibi butterfly flats from Sophia Webster are amazing and would make the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. | Blair Eadie - the subject of my this months style spotlight, such an inspiration. Her style is amazing, very chic and fun.

My Feb 3

The hen do arrived, and we survived! Theme - superheroes, so for the night I channeled my inner SheRa alongside Wonderwoman (the bride) and a fantastic night had by all. | A new handbag to start the spring season, love the classic colour and structure of this style from Zara. | Stumbled across the best outfit of the day background - fish at work. A casual date with hubby to the cinema, so comfort was key. Dorothy Perkins Skinny jeans, Topshop v neck jumper, New Look winter coat (old), DP slingback pointed flats (old) and the new Zara bag. | New in from Zoeva, this amazing nudes eyeshadow palette. | Never a truer word....countdown to Disney continues. | The latest box from Birchbox, some great products...a face serum and the perfect brush from Spectrum (plus its pretty). | My favourite post of the month, embracing geek chic with the new SS16 collection from Warby Parker. Be sure to check it out if you are after new specs but still want to stay chic. | In need of a new ticket/card holder and this little leopard print one was fit the bill, from the super cute brand Oliver Bonas (can't wait to pop into the St Pancras store in April before boarding the Eurostar). | Reworking a few wardrobe favourites - Dorothy Perkins skinny jeans, ASOS colourblock blouse, River Island tweed biker jacket (old) and my faithful Topshop pompom venetian pumps (old).

February flew by, but roll on March - a fabulous wedding, my Dad's 60th and the countdown to Disney continues...see you next time.
