This tote bag is everything! I saw Emma @brummymummyof2 had ordered one of these in her latest haul and decided I need to add one to my summer tote collection. The ideal mum bag as I can fit lots inside (having a three almost four year old means I carry a lot of stuff!) but the design and personalisation adds something different, elevating it from a traditional changing bag - which I am moving away from as my son is so much older now. Sadly the colourway I want is currently out of stock, but as soon as its back, I will be placing an order ahead of the summer months and filling it when we finally will be able to go places again #lockdownsucks
2. Lion wall art
A new Instagram seller (@oskieandroo) that I stumbled across on a late night scrolling session (come on we all have had those moments) and OMG how gorgeous is he! I am looking at jazzing up little dudes room this summer and finding pieces like this that are beautiful but also aren't too baby is exactly what I am looking for. There are some other animals including an elephant but Mr Lion is my favourite. Check out her Etsy store for so many gorgeous macramé pieces for the home.
3. Dinosaur prints - Single & Poster
Although this is a Wishlist, I will admit I have already bought this gorgeous A4 Stegosaurus print for my little boys bedroom, I couldn't resist - its such a beautiful piece by a local artist (@hallelula_prints) and ideal for a dino mad boy. The second piece is a larger A3 poster, which I also need! The detail on these prints is insane and would make such a great idea for a gift. I have had a few bits from this lady before, including the most amazing set of animal flashcards (she lives in my village) and I love the quality and individual-ness of each piece. She does all sorts of beautiful prints, not just dinosaurs so take a look at her store.

4. MV vintage tee
It wouldn't be a Wishlist without something from Mint Velvet! Every new season I excitedly scroll through the new in section, ready to choose the pieces for my uniform and this vintage photo tee caught my eye and is perfect for teaming with jeans or chinos & a denim jacket ready for when retail is finally back open again. I love the fit of MV tees and this one is the perfect off white colour with my favourite kind of imagery - vintage with a romantic feel to it.
5. Sophia Webster Astra heel
Sophia Webster is my go to designer brand for shoes. Whilst I am still to buy a pair, her designs encapsulates everything I love about fashion - the individualism, quirky and fun and these Astra heels are just beautiful...admittedly maybe not that practical for my day to day life but a girl can dream cant she! I love the subtle nod to stars and the colour palette would make these really easy to style with so many pieces. Maybe one day soon.....
Astra Sandal Black and Metallic Mix
6. ASOS spotty dress
The perfect summer dress, has me dreaming of sunshine and holidays. Love the simplicity of the dress and the classic monochromatic spots, also the shape will be ideal for keeping cool on a hot day. Teamed with sandals and a straw bag, and you are ready for the day.
ASOS DESIGN trapeze maxi dress in oversized mono spot
7. Amazon ♡ Sunglasses
So I already own two pairs of these sunnies, but the second I saw the lilac pair I knew I needed them! I get compliments every time I wear my tortoiseshell or white pair, they are such a fun accessory but also very chic. Plus lilac is such a key trend colour for the SS21 season and these are a great, inexpensive way to add a trend colour to your wardrobe....need to order ASAP.
Heart Sunglasses - Vintage Retro Cat Eye
8. Storage Crates
These days I am always on the look out for cute storage options (toddlers come with a lot of toys!), something practical yet chic. These crates are a great idea, stackable and available in a variety of colours, ideal to match in with the décor and not scream "toy storage". Just need to decide which of the 28 colours I am going to choose!

Dior has been one of my dream brands for a while but only in recent seasons have I really started to LOVE it. The 2019/2020 collections really impressed me - I think it was the use of beautiful neutral tulles and creating such sexy, yet ultra feminine looks. It may also be helped that two of my favourite fashionistas (Victoria @inthefrow & Lydia @lydiamillen ) have been spotted in many a Dior look. The mix of dark & edgy alongside the light, girly colour palette is so beautiful - a grown up modern day princess look.

If money were no object what would you invest in?
I wanted to finish this post with an apology, for the amount of "wishlist" style posts of late. I have been on a limited spend over the last few months so there is a lot of stuff I would love to buy but am not letting myself, also just something about the lockdown has me scrolling through the internet and I just keep finding pretty things, which in the current situation are bringing me joy & I wanted to share them.....hope you don't mind too much x

Kate Spade - Pastel Party

Double breasted coat | Grey wave stripe knit | Ava print shirt | Star print blouse | Elyse printed midi skirt | Alicia print/spot midi dress
Mia suede boots | Alex print shirt dress | Jade badge knit | Allie stripe trainer | Cerise blocked knit
Blush cashmere hoodie & joggers
Seems like forever since I did a wishlist post, so thought I would share my must have pieces from Mint Velvet for Autumn 2018.
*Worth noting I do work in-store for Mint Velvet, but all opinions and selections in this post are my own, as I truly love the product and wanted to share my favourites with you.
Which would you choose?
One thing I love about Mint Velvet is their prints - so many this season and I love the way they combine prints to create something new and a little different. The Ava print blouse is covered in abstract stars and is a gorgeous combination of navy and blush pink, perfect teamed with denim. Whilst the Alicia spot/print dress is great to team with ankle boots and your favourite leather jacket - showing how easy it is to mix prints if you stick to one colour palette, but doing it for you! However my "must have" would have to be the Elyse midi skirt - this split panel skirt combines a stripe with a bold floral and mixed with an aysemetric cut makes it a beautiful piece which looks phenomenal with knee high boots and a chunky knit.
And finally can't forget my feet....I love both of these options as they are so versitile. The Mia boots are a fab mix of suede and snakeprint in a deep shade of burgundy whilst the Allie trainers are a classic white style with a fresh pop of pink down the side. Both would look great styled with dresses, skirts or your favourite jeans.

Starting a fresh for spring...finding my style groove again, which will be easier now Mark is almost one. I am really drawn to simple pieces at the moment - classic shapes and quality fabrics but with a sprinkle of true fashionista quirk about them. This wishlist has a great selection of spring pastels, slogan tees, great accessories and a fabulous statement pair of flats.
1. ASOS Floral printed jacket | 2. ASOS Fabulous slogan tee |3. The Cambridge Satchel Company Lilac small cloud bag
The floral jacket has such a beautiful, almost watercolour print to it and would be a great spring jacket to throw on over a dress or classic jeans & tee combo. Most of the slogan tees I own are white, so I loved this ASOS fabulous one as it is a little different, plus the rainbow font is so fun. If you have read the blog for a while, or follow me on Instagram (@theglitterfashionista) you will know I am a lover of a Cambridge satchel and this little lilac one has my name written all over it.
I think this Paul & Joe sister dress is my ultimate little white dress...love the shape, the cut, the length and just the detail, everything but the price tag! - worth the investment if you don't have sticky little fingers around you everyday. The "You go mama" pin is a great little detail piece, perfect for the lapel of your denim or utility jacket (brand has soooo many cute designs if this isn't your cup of tea).
So the tassel earrings I actually picked up just as this post went live - big, bold and definitely statement but love them. The striped linen midi skirt is very summer and would be a great piece teamed with a white tee and sandals. A little obsessed with broiderie anglaise but this top from H&M is so cute, a little oversized and floaty but perfect to hide the mum tum! (actually bought in white last week but may have to go back for the navy too).
This Primark tee is a great Gucci dupe...only £4! and fits so well, perfect for teaming with a midi skirt or jeans. Finally can we take a moment to admire just how beautiful these Kurt Geiger mules are, perfectly practical but fabulous at the same time.
Let me know your favourite piece on the wishlist....and any spring recommendations you have x
