A new series dedicated to sharing the various food, places, fashion, beauty and entertainment that I'm currently enjoying.
1. New from L'Oréal Elvive the extraordinary clay re-balancing shampoo & conditioner, is designed to help with both greasy roots and dry ends. A breakthrough innovation which combines 3 refined clays into a hair care range to break the vicious cycle of oily roots & dry ends. Really enjoying using this combo, i have seen a big difference both in what my hair looks like after a few days (less greasy) but also how manageable and frizz free it is. Plus as a bonus my hair is super soft and silky. The range also includes a pre-shampoo masque and dry shampoo, perfect for keeping your locks looking luscious.
2. Still a relative novice with eyeliner - have always kept it as a night out product however i saw this one in ViviannaDoesMakeup's video and loved the idea of adding a liner to my everyday look that wasn't black. H&M's raw umber is the perfect one - such a lovely almost coppery shade that gives my eyes definition but isn't as harsh as black. Applies well and lasts all day, my only dislike is that because its a self pencil you have to sharpen regularly which uses it up quicker than i would like but at only £3.99 not an issue to re-buy.
3. Now that we have lighter mornings, my bedroom is awash with sunshine from about 6 in the morning and i like to have a eye mask to keep things nice and dark (i am not a morning person!). This was a spur of the moment purchase after deciding that the bright yellow minions one i have been using for a while now was looking a little sad, so i went for this gorgeous mulberry silk eye mask from Soak&Sleep. Such a soft silk, which is also good for the skin and comfortable strap - perfect for a good nights sleep.
4. Think this one will go down as my find of the month. Stumbled across this beauty bag set, filled with miniatures and sachets of Elemis skincare in TKMax, which has a surprisingly wide variety of beauty products/brands in store. The products are great to add to my travel stash but i really bought the set for the case - it is perfect for my make up, as the two compartments allow for brushes and products to be kept separate. A great dupe for the Anya Hindmarch travel case and at a fraction of the price.
5. Saw this cute jacket in a campaign shot for Primark back in January and have been on the hunt ever since - only managed to get hold of it mid March and since then haven't taken it off. What more could i want from a jacket - on trend khaki colour, great length and fit, lightweight for the warmer months and best of all only £18. Also comes in a khaki camouflage but not sure i am cool enough to pull that one off.
6. Essie Saltwater Happy, my new summer nail shade from the only brand of nail polish i use. A great pastel shade of blue with a lilac undertone - as usual good coverage and consistency, plus a nice change for me as i usually wear pinks or corals but fancied trying something a bit different. Is actually from the spring/summer 2015 collection, so i may have to stock up on a couple of extra bottles.

7. I have a love/hate relationship with New Look, sometimes i buy everything in there, others i don't like anything...this month its definitely love. So i treated myself to two new summer tops - one white sleeveless broderie anglaise and one floaty striped Bardot. Really impressed with this seasons collection and best of all both of these tops were under £20 but are great quality and fit. I may need to go back from the striped dress in the same colour palette as the bardot top.
8. A new product for me, was given a couple of packets of this granola to try and it is the nicest granola i have ever had (bold statement) so i have been enjoying it for breakfast with natural yogurt and strawberries. The flavours are Cinnamon & Pecan and Peanut & Apple and are available from Spoon Cereals UK. Not the cheapest , however the taste is worth it.
9. Netflix: This month its all about "How i met your mother", currently on season 9, so near the end and thoroughly enjoying. Any recommendations on what i should watch next?
10. Have always had a soft spot for Paris and all things Parisian so where better to celebrate my 30th birthday (read more about my trip in my post Thirty, flirty & thriving). The culture, the food and of course the fashions are all so sophisticated and chic. Plus had my first experience of Sephora, which was magical but very, very busy - don't choose the Champs-Élysées store on a Saturday afternoon....manic!
