With rainbow handles and super soft bristles the brush collection from Lottie London is perfect for anyone who wants quality make up brushes but not the high prices attached to brands such as Real Techniques or Zoeva. Lottie London has all your brush needs covered, with a great collection made up of 13 brushes and a beauty blender sponge, plus who can resist the colourful styling of each brush - pretty and practical.
I discovered Lottie London late last year whilst trying to find a new powder brush that didn't cost a fortune, but i ended up spending a little more and getting the Best of the Brushes collection and replacing most of my old set. Combining the five must have brushes to create flawless face and eye makeup looks, this starter set is a great all rounder and at only £19.99 a bargain. The set contains all you need for a basic day look:
Powder Power brush - for applying both loose and pressed powders,
Flawless Base Foundation Brush - for applying your favourite liquid foundation.
All Eyes On You Eyeshadow Brush - multi-tasking brush, perfect for applying base colour, or for buffing in the crease.
All Eyes On You Eyeshadow Brush - multi-tasking brush, perfect for applying base colour, or for buffing in the crease.
Blend In Eyeshadow Brush - for buffing, shaping and diffusing your eyeshadow colour.
Shade & Shadow Angle Brush - for shaping, smudging and lining in the crease, corners or across the entire lid.
All of the brushes are super full and soft, offering great application of both face and eye products and the best bit they all are under £10, most coming in at around £8. Plus I love the colour coded handles, perfect for telling all the brushes apart.
Then a couple of weeks ago whilst spending too much in my local Superdrug, i picked up the Make Me Blush brush, to round out my collection and it is the perfect size and shape for adding blush to my everyday look. I was also excited to read that last month four new brushes were added to the collection - Perfectly Precise eye, Studio Star Stippling, Buff and Blend, Contour Queen). I cannot wait to get my hands on the Studio star stippling brush - interested to see how it compares to the Real Techniques stippling brush i am using at the moment (based on the others i think it will live up to expectation).
The finishing touch to the Lottie London range is the Soap star brush cleanser. A solid cleanser bar that you simply rub a wet brush over until it lathers up and wash off, keeping all your brushes lovely and clean. I have tried a few cleansers before and this one is by far the easiest and leaves the bristles soft and fluffy (which many don't).
