My monthly series, sharing the food, places, fashion, beauty and entertainment that I'm currently enjoying...
and now including some #babysheath favourites too.
1. My favourite pair of shoes of this summer have been these gorgeous pompom mules from Next. A birthday gift to myself back in April and a bargain at £32, especially considering all the detailing on the shoes. They are really cute, on trend plus are super comfy and were a godsend for swollen pregnant feet and have proven invaluable over the last few months as they are so easy to slip-on whilst holding the baby. Teamed here with skinny jeans, a delicate lace top and burgundy slouchy bag for a family shopping trip (how amazing are these floor tiles...shoefie had to be done).
2. Since i got pregnant my skin has been awful, dry and really prone to spots, and while i had hoped once i'd had a baby it would clear up but alas no luck. This Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 from The Ordinary has been a skin saver, becoming a firm favourite in my daily routine and has helped so much - my skin is now clearer, softer, moisturised and glowing. I bought this bottle from ASOS, where i first found the brand but it is also now available on Feelunique. Need to go back and check out the rest of the range, particularly interested in the new foundations.
3. Getting back into jewellery this month - enjoying a mix of new along with some old favourites. Normally a fan of bold, statement jewellery but i have had to switch to more delicate baby friendly pieces (little hand grab everything) and am currently loving mixing metals - rose gold, silver and a splash of pearl. Current everyday combination is the rose gold "a" necklace and ear cuff, along with simple star studs, adding in some fun with the tassels and double pearl earrings when i want to mix it up. *Cactus jewellery holder from the new Zoella lifestyle range.
4. A cheeky little purchase from our trip to Bicester Village - an Anya Hindmarch rainbow pouch. Wanted to treat myself to a little designer piece and this was the perfect option. Currently using to store all my daily essentials (lipbalm, hand santitiser, etc) inside Mark's changing bag.

5. Planoly app - discovered this a couple of weeks ago and don't know how i survived without it. Perfect to help plan out future Instagram posts and style my grid, moving images around to make the most out of the theme i am using at the time. Only thing to note is that you only get 30 uploads a month on the free plan and have limited access on analytics but if you are an avid Instagrammer there are other plans available - however for me the free one works.
Available on iTunes & Googleplay.
6. My amazing rose gold elephant doorstop, is one of the most bizarre things i have ever purchased from Primark and i love it! A homeware bargain at only £8 and although i am not using it as a doorstop, it looks amazing on a shelf in my lounge - random but makes me happy (but does freak the cat out a little).
7. My maternity leave entertainment. I have been working through four seasons of Hart of Dixie, whilst chilling out with my little man...perfect easy watching. Any recommendations what i should go for next?
8. Rocking my new mum uniform - skinny jeans, cute t-shirts, lightweight knits and flats, plus the essential pair of sunglasses to hide the eye bags! These new additions to my wardrobe are all easy mix & match pieces that look chic but are comfortable and practical for looking after a baby - add a bag and i am good to go.
New Look ripped black skinny jeans, H&M stripe tee, New Look "Funday" jumper and Primark gold flats.

9. I never thought i would get so excited about baby boy clothes, but at the moment i love nothing more than finding new little pieces for Mark's wardrobe - these are just two of my latest finds, both from Tu@Sainsburys. Colourful and fun as well as good quality and so soft - plus Mark looks adorable in them. Expensive lark this maintaining a baby wardrobe!
10. I have a new found love for Jellycat soft toys - Mark now has four (and i also have a little unicorn) and they are my favourites out of all his furry friends. James and i bought the bashful beige bunny after our 12 week scan as a little present. The very fluffy Cyril the Sloth was a gift from my sister whilst the little vibrating pram fox and Dennis the dinosaur were a treat when he was about a month old - i couldn't resist....so cute, especially Dennis. Any of these would make a great new baby gift, if you know anyone who is pregnant.
