My monthly series, sharing the food, places, fashion, beauty and entertainment that I'm currently enjoying...

1. Feeling the need to update my shoe collection for the coming cooler season - I already have my ankle boots sorted but for me loafers are the must have footwear piece for the season. I love the shape and style of loafers, classic but this burgundy pair from Zara had that extra special something, with velvet uppers and gold thread insect embroidery. Have been wearing non stop in September - styled up with jeans as well as a suede mini/tights combo.
2. Finally Autumn has arrived in the UK, whilst i love the summer sunshine, i am itching to wear some of the new knitwear pieces i have bought. Autumn is such a colourful season, i love all the warm tones and snuggly textures that come out in my wardrobe - this sparkly leaf image sums it up perfectly for me.
3. My favourite part of September - Fashion Week! While we are preparing for the cold, seeing the beautiful new collections that we will be lusting after in SS17, gives us something to look forward to. My favourite shows were Sophia Webster, Temperley London and Anya Hindmarch - click on the brand names to read my fashion week coverage. I have also included an image of my favourite bag from the Mulberry collection - although controversially i haven't write a post (1st time in 4 years!) as the brand just doesn't float my boat anymore, it has lost its feminine edge and i miss the classics.

4. Switched this month to using the new Make Up Revolution Oval face brush for applying my foundation and am so impressed with its application - check out my review and details about the full collection here.
5. Cooking up a storm with more recipies from my Tanya Burr bakes book. So many amazing, yummy cakes to make. Throwback image to my peanut butter, M&M and pretzel cookies from earlier in the year - can't wait to make another batch of these next weekend.

6. As said before, i am so into the cooler day, mainly because i can now wear the pieces from my autumn haul without sweating! ASOS especially is killing it...the grey/white cardigan is so soft and i love the slightly oversized fit and the western buckle boots are amazing. The low heel makes them comfortable but the buckles given them a biker edge, perfect for toughening up my floral dresses.
7. My skin has been really bad lately so i thought i would try a charcoal face mask, as i have heard good things about them and needed something to dry out my spots. I went for this Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel charcoal mask and love it. Light yet effective and has really help clear up my skin. I use twice a week combined with the spot wand from the same brand.
8. Finally the long awaited Bridget Jones's Baby is out in cinemas and it was amazing. I loved the first two films but was hesitant as third films are not usually as good, but in this case i think it was better than the original! Plus Patrick Dempsey was a great addition to the cast and it was the perfect end to the story..
9. Switched to my favourite shade of Essie - Bordeaux, is my go to autumn/winter colour. I love how rich it looks. I have also teamed my manicure with the new gel/setter topcoat, after discovering that the good to go top coat is no longer in the range (very sad about this) but have been pleasantly surprised - the combination of quick dry and tough gel make my nails look glossy and last longer between manicures.

10. The latest TV show that hubby and i have been enjoying - Cold Feet. Whilst i was to young to watch the series first time around (was 11 when it came out!) we decided to watch all five series ahead of the new ITV launch and it has fast become a favourite - if you haven't seen check out the new series on ITV Mondays at 8pm.
